Another Bio...

- - Name: Jacqueline Lund

- - Profession/Study: Right now, I'm back in school getting an MSW, but my
career for many years has been in the area of architectural/interior
design, and I have an art background. I'm also studying computer
graphics, and have taken several non-credit courses in photography,

- - Country: I live in Brooklyn, NY, not far from the (infamous) 2001
nightclub, of Saturday Night Fever fame. (I've never been there.)

- - Personal history of photography: I learned photography as a result of
working on several art projects that required using old photos in a
collage. As I struggled with copying old slides and reshooting my
assembled work, I gradually acquired a love of photography itself. 

- - Preferred subjects:  I shoot mostly landscapes; in particular I'm
drawn to abandoned buildings and signs of life from the past.

- - Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): My favorite film is
Konica IR, and used to use Oriental Seagull, (I haven't found a favorite
replacement yet), and often use sepia toner or a warm tone developer. I
also do solarizations, which I sepia tone as well. 

- - Format (35mm/medium format/large format): I mostly use my trusty Nikon
FM2, but I enjoy using my Diana as well.

- - Other strange hobbies: I collect old cameras, and love trying them
out! Nothing fancy, just whatever catches my eye. I just picked up a
Rolls Royce to go with my Packard... very cool looking, and now I need
some more 127 to try it out!
