A quid pro quo.
I have found HC-110 (B) to work well with HIE and a 87c filter (mounted
BTR). This gives me a distinct IR effect but manageable contrast. D-19
and the 87c is like a bomb going off, at least in the summer. However, if
you want the truely dramatic, give it a try. I use a diffusion enlarger
and a hand held meter set for ISO 50. In the past I have used D-76 and HIE
shot with a #25 filter (exposed at ISO 100), develped by the book. Worked
well.
My question. What time do you use with T-Max 1:4 at 75F?
Jim
