Practical Photography

December's edition of Practical Photography magazine in the UK has a good
article about EIR written by Lee Frost and with some interesting photos.
There is a particularly good set of comparison shots.

They don't mention the article on the cover (it's on page 88) but the cover
story is called 'Eye Power'.

Now this raises an interesting issue regarding filters.  Spearmint gets
completely different results with a green filter than I did (mine were drab
and not worth showing but his were vibrant and exciting) and Lee's results
with an orange filter were different to mine.  So, the coloured filters
have unpredictable infrared responses.  Has anyone codified this?
