Andy--

don't know about codification of filters...there are so many now that
look the same (and may even behave the same with conventional film) that
have wildly different IR xmission.  It's probably a moving target.

I've only shot two test rolls of EIR so far, but a green (X1) filter
gave absolutely incredible blues.  The price is about a stop or so in
film speed and one of the more contrasty renditions of the filters I
tested.
