Infra-Red and Model Portfolio shoots

Recently a friend has asked me to take pictures of her for a portfolio.
Without a doubt I am keen on doing this as she is stunning (sorry about non
P.C comment), so I have been going through all the magazines, photographic
books to get ideas of poses and looks. Then VOILA!!!!!.. the light is
blinding.. what about using Infra-Red to be used for some of the portfolio
shots?

Has anyone ever done this before and if so what has the comments been? 

I cannot recall of the URL where I saw a lady lying across a grave-stone
(taken with IR film), but the effect was amazing.. so I am trying to
convince my friend to let me experiment with IR film (first ever use of IR)
for her portfolio.. now with the enthusiasm (both of taking pics of her and
of been able to use IR film) has made her keen on at least seeing the
effects of IR film on a model.

Can any suggestions be made on technique, type of film, lighting etc???
