I have a perplexing problem with the pressure plate of my Minolta camera =
producing a grid of spots on my HIE negatives.  The problem is =
intermittent but VERY annoying as it results in unusable negatives.  The =
pressure plate of the camera has a grid of recesses in it which results =
in a grid pattern on the negative.  Does anyone know of a solution?  =
(other than to switch to a camera with a smooth pressure plate?)

	Perhaps I could suggest contacting Minolta to see if all pressure plates 
they produce have this pattern, if not , change just the pressure plate. 
	Try cutting the backing paper from a 120 roll film and fastening over the 
existing pressure plate.
