As you say later, there are many parameters, measurable or not, that
may influence EI of IR film. This is probably the main difficulty
of handling EIR (or other brand of IR). IR level depends also from
date, time and geographical localisation, weather, etc...
Photocells don't react in visible and IR the same way,...

Even with experience, you cannot be sure of the result. It's just
like color photography in natural or artificial light. The same
visual sensation can lead to very different color balances !

I suggest that the group complete the following table (other item to
put in ?) and place it on a well-known IR dedicaced site or FAQ as
a working base (here are my own values) :

Film :
    - Speed : 200 ISO
    - metering : TTL + filter (29)
    - photocell : builtin (Nikkormat FTn)
    - snapshoot : same filter

Developpement :
    - type : D76
    - time : 10 mn
    - temp : 20 C
    - agitation : 30 sec (start) + 10 sec every minutes

Other Observations :
    - negative a little dark,
    - should try 250 or 320 ISO next time
