I`d have to disagree on your last statement, as I prefer either pushing TMY
or APX 400 to 1600.
Also, I find that there are few films I can mess up as much in the darkroom
as the TMY! Whoops!, no rinsing water (cut off literally seconds before),
Whoops! timer stopped (now was that 3 minutes or 5?), Whoops! fixer *after*
developper, must remember that next time, Whoops! TURN THAT LIGHT OFF!!!!!!!
;-D

Too true. The value and quality of a film is only as good as it`s user;
I have worked with TX previously, I couldn`t see what all the fuss was
about. Never touched it after I shot my last roll.
At the moment I`ve found "my" films, which I am happy with; Agfa Ortho, APX
25, APX 100, TMY. For soft portraits, TMX.

Both the TMX/TMZ and Tri-X are "double`s", ie same process time for 100/200
resp. 400/800 asa.
Ob IR-content: I just processed a HIE where I got a nice shot of a friend
of mine, with a "ghost" in the background. None of us can recall anyone
walking behind her at the time I took the shot. Add to the fact that the
pic was taken in a house where I have (previously) heard and felt "other
presences"; SPOOKY!!!
