Hi Siri,
Am now completely biased towards Kinica 750, the SFX is not as sensitive to
IR. You may be right about the R72 being a bit too much - however try with
the R72 and an R25, experimentation is where the fun starts ;-)
Both the OM1 and OM4 have a dimpled pressure plate - SFX and Konica 750
will be OK but remember to wrap the plate with some 120 roll paper black
side out if you decide to use HIE. Unless you like a dimpled pattern on
your negs.......
Someone with more knowledge will guide you through the developer business -
I would use D76 or Ilford HC as a first guess to find out how the SFX
behaves before using something like TMAX.
