Elton,
Am also using 2/98 dated 120 with no base fog problems. It is kept in a
fridge after purchase also. Developed within 24 hours of exposure using
Ilford HC.
Have loaded in bright sunlight with very little shade - no fogging :-)
I would guess that the film has not always been kept in a fridge - either
that or the ozone layer above your house is very thin and solar radiation
is bouncing around your house.
New XRay machines for aircraft luggage?
Try a roll of in date Konica using your normal processes and see if that is
also fogged....
