Reverse loading HIE film.

Has anyone taken a roll of HIE film, and taken it out of its casette and then
put it back into another casette reverse loaded, and then shot this film
through the camera? This would basically mean that the emulsion side of the
film would be in contact with the camera's pressure plate. Since HIE has no
anti-halation layer, I wonder if the resulting negatives would look exactly
the same?

Also there was some talk about a year ago, about wrapping aluminum around a
camera's pressure plate and seeing if this increased the halation effect, by
letting more light bounce off the plate and back onto the film. Has anyone
ever tried this? If so what were the results?

Peace
Rolland Elliott
