I don't think this is a static problem, for the following reason. 
Static discharges give off light which, not surprisingly, exposes the
film.  I've noticed this particularly with 120 film, where (if I'm not
careful) I get lots of static discharge while removing the sticky tape
which attaches the film to the backing paper.

Anyhow, static discharges show up as black on the negative (due to
spurious exposure) and hence print is white - as I understand it, the
pinholes were the other way round.
