Hmmmm.....  Investigated this area quite thoroughly after reading a Russian
book on the subject and having my ear bent by a couple of friends.  Kirlian
photography uses mega voltage (very low current to avoid corpses) to blast
the hell out of the subject matter whilst leaving photo sensitive material
around - such as film or photographic paper to record the effects.  Yes you
do get an image which is interesting, but the idea of a naturally ocurring
"aura" being made visible by using the process is IMHO believable only
after you have been a subject in such an exercise and had the voltage
applied to your temples ;-)

I could expand on this but will save myself by saying that I have a couple
of rolls of HIE in the fridge and the sun has just come out - as have many
leaves on plants and trees.  Bristol could be IR city over Easter.....
