Jason, did you read all the EOS-fogging comments on my homepage? 
I strongly recommend you first run a film of HIE/EIR through your
Rebel, and check the actual amount of fogging, before jumping on
another EOS body for that sole reason. There are quite a few people 
using IR-LED bodies with IR.
Also note that recent comments indicate that the EOS-5 fogs less than 
lower-end Rebels, so don't rule out IR-LED in general.
