I would recommend ordering HIE/EIR in the cold season, more for EIR
than for HIE.

One complicating detail that has recently been discussed on the Net
is the use of new airline luggage scan equipment....late model
scanners can (and will) automatically raise their intensity when
seeing opaque/strange objects, thereby absolutely ruining film
(there is a Kodak statement/announcement confirming this horror
scenario, for those not believing me). Note that this only applies to
check-in luggage, not to carry-on luggage. But that doesn't help
your case, as the big question is what happens with postal mail send
by air....my fear is that only the slow surface/ship method is
safe....or: what would be easier for a terrorist than to send a bomb
with postal mail?....one must assume that postal mail is even more
suspect than passenger luggage, hence the risk of this scanning
damage is high.

Btw, doesn't Kodak have an office/distributor on the Phillipines?
Or do they require a large minimum order?
(won't be the first emulsion/format/country for this to happen....:-((
