The Mamiya RZ brochure specifically mentions that these APO's are
suitable for infrared without focus-correction. Same goes for the
equivalent APO's for RB of course.
Yet the spectral chart that is listed below this text in the RZ
brochure stops at 750nm, with a steady flat line ending by
800nm....so it doesn't say much in case of HIE, which would require
the most correction, if any.
But the fact that Mamiya sells a 70mm back might be a secondary 
argument that they not just mean Konica 750IR, but also HIE.

PS: does anyone know the market value of a 500/8 non-C lens?
The Mamiya APO's are tempting, but they also seem the ultimate 
example of incremental gain related to a huge price....:-))
