I just read an article in Photo Reporter( a trade journal), written by 
Herb Keppler, that talked about the new machines. The FAA is deploying 60 
of them across the USA. They wont say where...but the scarry news is that 
it( the machine) puts a one centimeter wide band across unesposed film it 
looks at!.  The same mark is there but tends to blend in with exposed 
film images.
   Who knows what will happen if your bags and film make more than one 
pass....
   I plan to get the article and post it  as soon as I can...in the 
meantime the only way to go is to stuff your pockets full and ask for a 
hand inspection for the rest of your  film.!!!!!!!!!
