All Airports have different procedures for the screening of luggage, so
you can not say that 'no harm will come to your film'.
In Manchester. England ALL baggage gets x-rayed no matter
what, and also they are done by the same machines so I am
sorry to say that it could well fog your films whether they are in
hold or hand luggage.
Surely we should all just carry the film in our pockets when we
board the planes, whats wrong with 100 rolls of film in your
jeans ! ;-)
