Standard polarizers work primarily with visible light. The greater the
percentage of visible light in your image, the greater the effect of a
polarizer. I use one with HIE all the time. Konica will exhibit more visible
light as a percentage than HIE when used with a #25 filter (similarly, TMX will
show a greater effect than Konica).
