I don't know how many pro's hang out on the list, so I might suggest your
repost your question to the PHOTOPRO listserv.

and look for the section on subscription info, you can sign up online.

Short of that call some pro's in your area. While you may get a few that
don't respond, most would rather have you quote a price that is in line with
the rest of the crowd rather than erode the prices they have worked hard to
maintain. My experience has been that most people tend to sell themselves
short if they have a chance to...so don't.

Also who is the client and what are they planning on using the photos for?
If the client is the church they probably don't have much cash to pay for
services. I don't know if there is much call for stained glass windows as
stock, but make sure to get a property release if you want to re-use or
lease as stock.

If the client is a commericial concern then your price should take the usage
into consideration.

If it was me, and you are forced to give a "per piece shot" then make sure
you state a minimum dollar amount or a minimum number of pieces to qualify
for that specific price. Otherwise they will want to hire you again just to
shoot one and expect to pay what they did before. Personally I price by the
"project" not by the hour.
