#87 and 87C sheetfilters between the filmrails

re response from Jim Wood on my question: is it necessary to adjust
focus in case of sheetfilters (87, 87C) between the filmrails? I never
thought about it and always adjusted focus for IR automatically. However
since the filter is behind the lens there is no need to adjust focus
anymore!? Is this correct? How do other LIST-members tackle this
problem?
