Re: New HIE Problem (Lines)

I have recently seen problems with vertical lines on three HIE films,
but the following was clear:

a)  the lines corresponded exactly to the sprocket holes;  and

b)  they only appeared at the beginning of the film, vanishing gradually
over the first 3 or 4 frames.

Rightly or wrongly, I put the problem down to poor agitiation -
especially at the middle of the spool, where the first few frames would
reside.  If anyone has any better ideas...
