I don't know of any tanks made today that are not IR opaque. At one time, there
were marketed some very cheap tanks (the kind nobody here would consider) that
were not, but these were the ones that would crack if you hit them to dislodge
bubbles. Really, really cheap.
I don't know of any plastic camera bodies that transmit IR either. I've shot
Konica IR in my Holga, and you don;t get much cheaper than that.
If your large format holder is not wooden and the slide has a series of five
raised dots on it, you will be okay. If not, you will need to run a test to
check it (I've a friend whose Fidelity holders leak like a sieve.
