Minolta Cloth Shutter Curtains

I shot a roll of HIE in my Minolta X-700 that has a cloth shutter curtain
and it looks like I'm getting quite a bit of light leakage through or
around the curtain. I've noticed this problem before when I shoot TMZ (@
3200) and forget to put the lens cap on for a while. I get slight fogging
over about 1/3 of the frame.

Is there any treatment I can apply to the cloth to make it more opaque?
