Film Stability

A bit of empirical evidence on the life of HIE in a camera. ON August 1, I
loaded roll of HIE which had been frozen for about six months and then
thawed. I took about 10 frames and about August 15 I exposed another 12
frames. I then went into the hosptal for several weeks, leaving film
sitting in bedroom in camera. I finally was able to go out about three
days ago and used up the remaing film. Today I developed it. The film
base was clear and the images unfogged. On the three outings the
temperature had been in the mid ninties (35 C) and in the upper seventies
in the house. So the stuff is not unduely bothered by life above 13 C/55 F
for six weeks or so.
