Almost totally unrelated, but this is another great thing about
bulk rolling film -- I end up with a light-tight can full
of the bits I cut off for the tapered leader, giving a ready
supply of otherwise useless bits of film for testing the
IR-tightness of all sorts of equipment, bellows, tanks, etc.
