My biography

Okay, I've been lurking too long.

- Name:  Bertha Adamson

- Profession/Study:  Software Consultant  (I would like to add
Photographer to that but I feel a little reticient about that until I
have reached critical customer mass.)

- Country: USA

- Personal history of photography: Have always been interested in
photography but began pursuing seriously in 1990.  Have taken classes in
college art department and belonged to several photo clubs.  I am
currently pursuing ways to make money from photography after becoming
proficient at spending it for photography.

- Preferred subjects:  A little bit of everything, but favorites are
abstractions, figure studies, nature.

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):  Infrared: HIE is
favorite but I haven't handled it enough to have a high success rate,
have used Konica and the Ilford SFX as well as the new Ektachrome. Color
Print:  Agfa Optima, Kodak.  Slide: Kodak E100/Elitechrome 100,
E200/Elitecrome 200. B&W: mostly Ilford film and chemicals, but I need
to focus on just a couple and I want to try Agfapan 25.

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format): 35mm, incl. Stereo slides.
(Color infrared might be cool in stereo, as soon as I figure out how to
attach filters.)

- Other strange hobbies: apart from being obsessive-compulsive, I give
movers hernias from the number of books I collect. (Photo books are
remarkably dense.)

- How did you find out about this list: A newsgroup, I forget which one.

- In case you already have your own IR-Gallery on the web, please
state the URL/address: (I will then also add your site to the overview
of
IR-Galleries on my homepage!....think of the fame you can get....:-))
I have a website but it is still under construction, with no infrared,
yet.

- Expand on anything photographic you like:
This is such a helpful group.   I really enjoy sharing information and
new ideas with other photographers. Thanks.
