D-9 Developer

Hi everyone,
     I have been using Rodinal with very pleasant results on a one shot basis,
but due to the instability and easy  exhaustion of the developer in the bottle
after it is exposed to the air, I have been looking for another developer.   I
would like to try D-19 but I can't get the temperature of my water hot enough to
disolve the powder at 125 degrees as is recommended.   Anybody got some ideas or
is there another developer (liquid) that is as good as Rodinal and more stable.
Your help as usual will be greatly appreciated!!!
