You are correct that SFX200 is not an infrared, but an extended-red film.  With
a #25 filter you can begin to get some "IR-like-effects".  IMHO, if you really
do want to use this film because it is easier to handle (not much of a reason as
far as I'm concerned), then you may wish to try Konica's film.  It is a true
infrared film and will give you excellent results (examples can be found on my
Web page).
