Has anyone used Ilford SFX 200 film?

Has anyone used Ilford SFX 200 film? 
Is this film good with a red filter for IR like effects? 

The Ilford info states that it has some extended sensitivity in the red
spectrum (i.e. like IR) but is easier to handle and process. I'm thinking
this film is not IR but drops down low enough to capture some of the IR
spectrum.

I am new to IR film so please be gentle. :)

Any opinions or suggestions are appreciated
