What do I have to be careful for with Konica 120

I own a Zeiss Ikoflex from the late 1950's. Is there any special
precautions I need to follow using Konica 120 IR when using it with an
older TLR. The first thing I have some worries about is... To get the
film loaded in the camera correctly you need to look through a red
window in the bottom of the camera. I can slide a cover over the window,
but will the Ir comming throught this window fog some of the pictures?

Does anyone have experience with this type of camera?

The reason I am asking instead of just shooting to test is that I will
have to find and buy a filter and filter holder for this type of camera
first
