Well, it looks like we have been at least 2 following the same idea of using
the so called 'IR lamps" in order to have our lightmeter and our model
happy.
Unfortunately it appears to be affecting the model more than the emulsion,
but it is already a good point...
Thanks for the information anyway, I will stop searching for these reddish
lamps in what you call "garage sales" in the US.

Another question which might be a good thread: anyone heard of the IR
capabilities of the future elctronic film from Imagek ? (see advertisement
on  www.imagek.com)
