Dear Ken,
According to my source at Kodak, the pinholes are due to very small
voids in the emulsion, so anything you try in the darkroom cannot fill
in the problem.
However, if you can offer something other than a theoretical "fix",
like successful A/B comparisons, I would be very interested.
