Ron, I too thought about making a dark slide/filter for the 70mm magazine.
It occurred to me however that the light piping through the filter as you
inserted or withdrew it would probably ruin at least one or two frames each
time.  That and the probable scratching made me give that idea up.  I will
look into your idea for the 35W however.
