If you are talking about HIE, then I use Xtol.  Rodinal is great with HSI, but
you're talking about something completely different there.

Rodinal leaves the grain alone, as opposed to eating away at the edges.  Because
of this, accutance is increased, but the grain becomes more noticeable (they go
hand-in-hand).  For this reason, I use Rodinal with slow films (like konica IR)
and HSI, and Xtol with the faster films.
