Dear Frank,

I too have used a lot of glassines. Sleeves from thirty and forty years ago 
are pretty yellow, but I see no effect on my negs.

Lately, I have been seduced by the organization and "proofability" of these 
new mylar sleeves. But, if they scratch negs, I will give them up.
