Andrew posts, on my EIR "experience" ...
More likely an overabundance of infrared. The visual appearance of color
infrared film has a lot to do with the mix of colors (green and red) and
infrared present in the original scene.
Hmmm, this could be. Late afternoon light. Not much of
either red or green in the scenes, mostly water & sky
and "structures". Not having a #12, I used the #15 which
I got a while ago when it was suggested in another thread
on EIR. I did some w/ the polarizer as well as the #15, but
they didn't appear any different.
Ah well, an acquired taste this EIR, I suppose. I do think
I much prefer the b&w HIE and the ones done w/ the #87 show
much potential for future rolls. The "foliage effect" is
much more so than w/ the #15 red I was using last year. I'll
be making up some more from it tonite, most likely.
The idea of a lab blunder was just a possibility, anyway ; as
I have no earlier experience w/ the EIR to campare to.
Bill
