Patrick, I purchased an XPan specifically for B&W IR work about 6 months ago. Hasselblad assured me that it was safe. Unfortunately, with Kodak HIE it will fog a little into the image area because of the IR sensor in the camera. For those who do not require a full-frame reproduction from the negative, or are using a less sensitive IR film, it might be fine. I am hoping they will fix the problem, but it is a long shot.
Good Luck and Best Regards.

I am considering purchasing the Hasselblad XPan camera to use strictly for IR work. Has anyone had any experience with this camera using IR film? Fogging problems?
Thanks!
