OK enough already!
A cp 16 is a CINEMA PRODUCTS 16mm reflex single system
crystal sync sound film camera.
I used to use one as did about every TV station in the US.
It was the camera of choice for news gathering. It weighed about
12 pounds with a self contained battery and a 400 foot film
magazine that would let you film for 12 minutes before you ran
out of film and had to reload.
As to the film stock. Kodak will , for a price, make any format
available by cutting it down from a larger roll (as some list members
know).
Movie makers have multi=million$$$ budgets and can afford such things.
Another scenario - they could have shot hie in a 35 mm film camera and
had a 16 mm print made.
