I remember reading an article about an individual who carried his HSI in a
cooler wherever he went. I've never done this and have not found a
problem. Then again, I haven't gone to the extremes (leaving film in a
locked car in 100 degree heat for an extended time), so I'm not sure where
the cutoff point is. At some point, ALL film will be destroyed by heat.
