Since you already own a Nikon N90, why not simply purchase an old Nikkormat 
FTN or FT2 or FT3 (which you can find for between $125 and $250) and put an 
AI 24mm lens on it. As long as you select AI rather than AIS, you will be 
able to use the lens on all your equipment. Keep HIE in the Nikkormat, and 
you will be ready for action at all times. The nice thing about the Nikkormat 
is that it is made of metal and will withstand virtually any and all physical 
punishment that you may choose to give to it. It  is certainly tougher than 
the FM, FM2, and their ilk.
