- Name: Barry B. Bean

- Profession/Study: Cotton broker, part time musician, freelance
photographer and writer

- Country: USA

- Personal history of photography: Originally got into photography
carrying my parent's old Brownie backpacking. Later graduated to
Olympus SLRs, but stayed focusedon nature photography and scenics
through HS and college. Have recently returned to photography after a
decade or so off from serious shooting.

- Preferred subjects: Agricultural, scenics, nature, landscapes,
architecture, and outdoor sports.

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): I currently use both
consumer and pro labs to do my work, but will likely be setting up a
small darkroomlater this year. While I primarily shoot color negative
and transparency (Velvia, NPS 160, CZ800), I'm beginning to
experiment with IR film - hence my interest in the list.

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format):  35mm - Olympus SLR

- Other strange hobbies: Accordions, dark beer, and hot peppers
