Infrared films are not more sensitive to X-rays as regular slow to medium speed films.  Just make sure they do not open the canisters.  You should have no problems from the x-ray machines you walk thru, but make sure you don't put any undeveloped film in your luggage.  The CTX baggage scanners will ruin all film.
