Rodinol
hello folks :)
My chems have expired, I'm a waaaay too broke 2nd time college
student. So for the first time I'm gonna *wince* send my rolls out
for processing.
A shop I approached tell me he uses Rodinol, and is willing to do
any dilution I give him. He hand processes/prints
I have never used Rodinol before so I'm asking the expertise of this
group. What do you recommend for dilution & dev. times ? I
basically go for the many grey tonalities halated/blown out/white
leaves look of say ASA 400, rather than the higher contrast fewer
shades of grey look of ASA 50.
There's also the local pro shop which uses a Kodak machine for
B&W and I think the standard dev. for Kodaks machines. I'll have to
find out exactly what it is & tell you folks, so at least i can get
some input as to which dev. the kodak one or Rodinol would be
better.
Apprently the guy who does ROdinol hasn't done HIE before, & the
pro lab seemed to have no idea what I was talking about, tho i
suppose they've done it before, since it is the biggest pro shop on
the island.
I'm begging for help here ;) this roll I got, I can't afford to screw up
Thanks for any help you may bestow on my worried head :)
Yours,
ket
