Hey I know what you mean ;-) I did it about twice and got so frustrated
that I'd have someone try and help me by holding the end and all... now what
I do is rewind the film only enough to where the leader is still sticking
out... then when I get into the darkroom... I get it out of the camera and
only pull about a foot out at a time so I can load it into the reel without
the film winding and twisting all the time... then I only pop the top off
of the canister at the very end to cut it off... have you tried that?? It is
so much easier for me that way :-)
