I also keep an old Canon body for the same purpose. I'm not sure if Canon is
the only 35mm manufacturer with this feature, but I think this is a valid
question. Why would a company like Canon incorporate the IR focusing
adjustment on its lenses and then design a body to make infrared film
unusable? I'm guessing part of the reason is the IR adjustment dates back
many years, and the infrared sensor is a relatively new device...
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
