I don't know about other IR films manufactured by MACO. Their 'big
business films are in the x-ray sector.

I do know, however, that during their R&D phase, MACO tried three
different emulsions with sensitivities up to 780nm, 820nm, and 840nm.
They decided to go for the 820nm emulsion as this one gives noticeable
IR effects without the short lifetime and storage restrictions of the
840nm emulsion.
