Unfortunately I don't have comparisons done on film but it has been my personal
observation that simply using an infrared filter does not necessarily produce
visually more interesting photographs. In fact, when photographing foliage and
skin, using an 87C filter may, to some extent and again _depending on subject
matter_ , result in subjectively "duller" photos.

I have a couple of comparisons done with a Agfa 1280 camera but only with 87
