Hi,
Almost all my outdoor IR work is done with a 20mm lens (previously
19mm) and there is no difference between using that and normal or long
lenses. One advantage is that because of the short focal length, and
extreme depth of field of the WA lens, it means I almost never correct
for IR focus - I just focus at the closest part of the subject, and
take it from there. (the actual amount of lens extention for correct
focus of IR for a 24mm lens would be 0.06mm (1/2 of 1% of the focal
length)).
