Ah yes, but that picture comes from the official Canon press 
pack....and those prints & slides are in my posession too....;-))
Yet I am still not too sure whether it is definately outside the image 
area....it also shows the 'rivets' on top and bottom, holding the 
pressure plate itself....and the imprint rectangle isn't much further 
away from the center of the plate.
Note that my Canon contacts haven't responded positively 
either....while all it takes is a peek inside the camera, at bulb, 
with the shutter open.
